Durango
Colorado is a great place to fish, the Animas river which runs through
town is stocked with trout, fly fishing is probably the most popular method
of fishing the Animas.
Villacito and Lemon Reservoirs, are also stocked with trout and land-locked salmon. Live Bait is prohibited in the river except in certain areas so bring lures and flies. |

Currently in Durango, the Animas River is finally running clear and we have seen a few fisherman near the deep holes under the bridge on main, we will do interviews with the local fisherman, and have some great photos of some catches at all the popular spots around Durango. |
