After living in Durango, Colorado
for two years we found that the biggest startup expenditure we had was
Electricity, our initial deposit for electric was $180.00 ( that's the
average of a three months of service). although we still get disconnect
notice's from time to time, let the person moving to Durango Beware. LPEA
is merciless when it comes to late payments.
This became all to apparent to
a friend of ours we will call him "QD", the people that know him will know
who he is, "QD" had planned a trip to Mexico for 30 days and had been with
LPEA for 20 Years, Unfortunately in his haste to get his vacation underway
he forgot to pay his Electric Bill, shortly after leaving on his Vacation,
LPEA pulled his plug. "QD" came home to find his house dark, his freezer
thawed, the Contents Spoiled. We recently came home to find our home dark
too. We Recieved No Call.
